About us

At Sha & Ivy you can find unique furniture, high-quality home decor items, the most beautiful silk flower bouquets and our own handmade decoupage hearts.

Sha & Ivy is named after our beautiful dogs and not after ourselves.

The human faces behind Sha & Ivy are ourselves, Paula and Marijke. We are sisters who grew up in Enschede before emigrating to New Zealand with our parents. In New Zealand, we ran a business in the equestrian sector for 16 years, with great pleasure and passion.

We both have a great passion for home renovation, DIY, interior design, and painting furniture. We personally love old houses, eclectic yet warm interiors, and a little (or a lot) of color.

Our shop grew out of our overgrown furniture painting hobby. Sha & Ivy started in New Zealand, but now we wake up every morning full of passion and drive to take our business to new heights in the Netherlands!

We're often asked why we moved from New Zealand, and there's really only one reason: family. Unfortunately, our mother was no longer able to function properly in New Zealand due to illness, and since our mom's situation is no longer improving, but only deteriorating, we will do everything we can to support our parents through this process. Emigration included!
