About us

Sha & Ivy is a cozy store located in the center of Middelburg. At Sha & Ivy you can find unique and sustainable furniture, refashioned by ourselves, Paula & Marijke Wichmann.

We are sisters and have been working together almost all our lives, previously in the horse industry and now in the world of furniture refashioning!

For the past 17 years we have lived in New Zealand, where we passionately built a boarding stable and were active in dressage with our own horses.

We started Sha & Ivy in New Zealand as a hobby that grew out of control - not very different from horses! Unfortunately we had to leave our horses in New Zealand, but we are very motivated and enthusiastic to continue our passion for circular furniture in the Netherlands!

We returned to the Netherlands in 2023 due to our mother's deteriorating health and decided to settle in beautiful Zeeland.

Sha & Ivy is named after our greatest love - our dogs. Sha unfortunately passed away in 2023, but if you visit our store in person, there is a good chance that Ivy will also be there.
