Terms and Conditions
When placing an order, you as a customer agree to the General Terms and Conditions below.
General
- These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements with Sha & Ivy. They are publicly visible and posted on Sha & Ivy's website.
- By placing an order you agree to the delivery and payment terms on the website or in the contract.
- Sha & Ivy ensures that the product you receive is in accordance with the description as provided.
Price
- All prices stated are in Euros and include VAT, and do not include delivery or shipping costs.
- Sha & Ivy reserves the right to change prices at will. All prices shown on the site are subject to manual typographical errors, for which no liability is accepted on behalf of Sha & Ivy.
Orders
- Your order is final once it has been placed and all orders via the webshop require payment in advance via one of the available payment methods.
- All orders are subject to the item being in stock or the product in question being available for backorder.
- Orders will be shipped within a maximum of 3 days after the order has been placed, (unless the item(s) are on backorder), with the exception of during a holiday period, which will be visible on the webshop.
- All mail orders are placed at the buyer's risk. If your item does not arrive by post, it is not possible to replace the item. Sha & Ivy is not responsible for delays in delivery by post, or any damage caused in transit or missing parts from the distributor. Every effort will be made to resolve such situation in a mutually acceptable manner.
- It is possible to collect your order by appointment or by visiting the store during opening hours. Please contact Sha & Ivy for this.
- All orders are shipped carefully packaged and checked. Every effort is made to ensure that you receive your order in perfect condition as it leaves Sha & Ivy's premises. Should your order arrive in a damaged condition, please contact shaandivy@hotmail.com by email within 48 hours of receiving the order, with relevant photos of the damaged item(s). Return or replacement items (not applicable to furniture) may be shipped upon approval by Sha & Ivy.
- All furniture is collected or delivered by mutual agreement between the parties concerned.
Returns
- Webshop - This only applies to non-furniture items - If an item purchased through the webshop does not meet your expectations, it can be returned to Sha & Ivy in an unopened, undamaged condition within 14 days of receipt. Once the returned item(s) is received by Sha & Ivy in an unopened, undamaged condition, a refund will be processed within 14 days. Shipping or courier costs incurred by returning an item are the responsibility of the sender.
- Furniture – Furniture can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Returns are no longer accepted after 14 days of receipt. Courier/delivery charges for returns are the buyer's responsibility. Please ensure you measure carefully, or come to our store to check if the item meets your expectations prior to purchasing, if you are unsure. All furniture items are filmed prior to shipping to show you the condition they will leave Sha & Ivy in prior to shipping/delivery. If a piece of furniture is received with damage caused during transport, Sha & Ivy accepts no liability. If it is damage that can be easily repaired, Sha & Ivy will cooperate and repair the item to the best of their ability, if it is within the Netherlands. This is not possible for items shipped outside the Netherlands.
Delivery / Shipping costs
- All orders purchased through the webshop are shipped by Post NL, DPD, DHL or another shipping company chosen by Sha & Ivy. Every effort is made to keep shipping costs to a minimum and use efficient and sustainable delivery methods.
- For orders outside the Netherlands, the applicable shipping costs from the Netherlands to that country apply.
- Delivery time depends on the shipping/delivery service used, but is approximately 2-10 days depending on the delivery address. Sha & Ivy is not liable for delays in the delivery time of the shipping service.
- If you wish to receive your order by “sign on receipt” shipping costs (registered), you must inform Sha & Ivy in advance to arrange this. Additional costs are for the buyer.
- Furniture can be collected from Sha & Ivy's premises. Delivery (or collection, if applicable) will be arranged by mutual agreement with the buyer and costs will be agreed in advance and calculated per kilometre, at rates comparable to Brenger rates. A courier service is used for delivery >200 km from Sha & Ivy's premises. Costs and payment for the courier service are made in advance and mutually agreed upon.
Copyright
- The images shown on the website are the property of Sha & Ivy and are subject to copyright. You may not copy or repost these images without prior permission from Sha & Ivy.
- Some images shown may differ in color from the actual product due to screen color settings and discrepancies.
Power Major
- Sha & Ivy is not liable in situations that are due to circumstances beyond its control. These may include postage or other delivery delays, damage caused during transport, internet, email or electricity disruptions, labor strikes, government regulations or supplier delays.
Quality
- The furniture sold by Sha & Ivy has been previously used, vintage or antique and has been restored, restyled and revived to its current condition. Discrepancies and signs of use due to the age of the furniture may occur. All furnishings can be viewed prior to purchase to avoid disappointment. No guarantees are given. You are always welcome to come and have a look without obligation before making a purchase.
- All wooden furniture is checked and treated for woodworm where necessary, but no guarantee is given that woodworm is not present. If you receive a piece of furniture that contains woodworm, it can be treated with a suitable product. If in doubt, contact Sha & Ivy for the best treatment method. Treatment of the woodworm is the buyer's responsibility if it is discovered after receiving the furniture.
- Wooden furniture is a natural product and shrinks and expands with heat, humidity and cold temperatures. Cracks can appear over time in extreme heat, humidity and cold, especially if you have underfloor heating, or an older home that is less insulated or particularly damp. Sha & Ivy is not responsible for the natural functioning of the wooden furniture it sells. Be careful while placing furniture to avoid this problem. Furniture should not be placed in damp places, too close to radiators or other sources of heat or moisture.
Privacy
- Sha & Ivy acts in accordance with the law and does not share personal data with third parties without prior permission. Your privacy as a user of the Sha & Ivy website is respected and your personal information is treated respectfully and confidentially.
Rights reserved
- Sha & Ivy reserves the right to change any of the above Terms and Conditions as it deems necessary to protect its customers, its property and its business integrity.
