This sturdy cabinet from the Art Nouveau period is a beautiful example of the quality supplied by Jacob and Josef Kohn van Wien, Vienna.
The cupboard dates from around 1900 and we have breathed new life into it and given it a rustic and sturdy look.
We painted this cabinet with Bin primer, followed by Niveau chalk paint in Jet Black. The original wood carvings in the door have a custom gray overlay over the Jet Black, which makes the carvings stand out even more. The cabinet is finished with Polyvine varnish.
The inside of the cabinet is finished with wax and for a luxurious finish the back panels are covered with AS Creation History of art wallpaper.
